The recording continued as soon as I switched on the device again, failing again after exactly 5 minutes after screen off.Īfter fiddling with the Locus and Android settings for weeks and reading numerous threads about problems with track recording, I finally succeeded. After 5 minutes, no points were recorded anymore. The problem: I was unable to record tracks for more than 5 minutes after the display was switched off.
I have been using the pro version of Locus for the last 3 years and I have to say that this is a wonderful piece of software, feature rich and well maintained! My device is a Nexus 5x running a rooted, but by all other means a plain vanilla Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS.
